| History The West Lothian Academy of Magic (formely the West Lothian Junior Magic Circle) was founded on Tuesday 1st September 1998 with five youngsters who came along to our first meeting. Since that first meeting, now entering our eighth year, the WLAM has gone from strength to strength where members have performed Magic many times for the public on T.V. Theatre, Gala Shows and for promotional events like the launch of the first Harry Potter Movie. Our members have been winners of the Scottish Young Stage Magician of the Year and have also won the title of Scottish Young Close-up Magician of the Year. We meet on the first and third Tuesday, monthly between September and June, in the Ability Centre, Carmondean Centre Road, Livingston EH54 8PT. The West Lothian Academy of Magic is for boy's and girl's aged between 10 and 16 who have a genuine interest in magic Where can you see us perform in 2009 This year the Academy of Magic have been performing at the East Calder Gala Week Carnival, Vue Cinema Livingston promoting the latest Harry Potter film and you can see us next at the Boghall Fun Day on the 8th Aug 2009.
